One of the only locals left in Crouch End, The Railway Tavern is a beautiful 1930’s mock Tudor pub that has had many of its original features lovingly restored by its owner, who is passionate about reinstating old boozers to their former glory. The Railway Tavern garden is a secret gem tucked around the back of the pub, a great place to relax with a cold drink and enjoy the sunshine in the summer or cuddle up with a glass of mulled wine in the winter.

The garden is closed at 11pm and smoking is permitted and we are dog friendly!

What I’d been told was correct, you wouldn’t know the place these days, smart furnishings, decor art on the walls, superb choices of beer and spirits and yes, the food is restaurant quality, you can tell that by the finicky way the food is presented apparently they have a full time proper chef working there and everything is made fresh on the day.
